Dalton, a Boys Ranch resident and senior at MCH, was an
honorable mention selection for the Waco Tribune-Herald’s 2012 Super Centex
Team for six-man football. Dalton, quarterback for the Bulldogs, led the team to
finish with its highest ranking ever.
“Dalton was a great leader both on and off the field,” said
Matt Rodgers, head coach of the MCH Bulldogs. “This was the toughest schedule
that MCH has faced and we lost to two state champions by only a combined seven
points. Without his leadership the team would not have been as successful as
they were.”
Dalton set both the MCH passing yards and passing touchdowns
record with 1,947 yards and 30 touchdowns.
He also had 505 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Dalton set the
record for the most total yards with 2,452 and combined touchdowns with 43.
