MCH youth offer help through UMCOR

Methodist Children’s Home students and staff gave of their time and personal money to make UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) health kits for Haitians affected by the recent catastrophic earthquake.

The MCH Student Council organized the project in conjunction with Cogdell United Methodist Church in Waco. Our youth asked for monetary pledges from teachers and even gave from their own allowances to raise money for the kits. Our youth raised hundreds of dollars to pay for the health kits. Here are some photos from the afternoon they spent preparing the kits.
