Methodist Children's Home is once again hosting the Willson-Johnson Lectures on our Waco campus May 6 and 7. These dynamic lectures are geared for individuals who work directly with at-risk youth, but a wide-variety of social workers and professional counselors may benefit from the lectures.
This years' speaker is Mr. Frank Kros, MSW, JD. Mr. Kros is a career child advocate and will speak on a variety of topics related to youth brain development. The program has been approved by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners and Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors for continuing education units for Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors.
For a brochure with details and sign-up information click here. The cost for the lectures is $10 and the deadline for sign up is April 28.
