The night air was cold, but the Bulldogs turned on the heat during our last home football game, Friday, October 29. MCH claimed victory over Fort Worth THESA with a final score of 65-42. To add to the excitement of the night, the Home had its first Homecoming. MCH Homecoming king and queen were crowned during half-time. Javen and Tammika, royalty of the evening, were beaming with Bulldog pride as they smiled for the camera.
It’s been a busy fall with athletics in full swing! Our volleyball team made it to the state tournament in San Antonio October 28-30. We lost by a slim margin, but our team did a great job this year. Two of our players were recognized for All State Honors. Victoria made Second Team All State and Erica received an Honorable Mention for the 2010 volleyball season. Congratulations ladies!
Our basketball teams are geared up and ready for the season. The girls’ basketball team had their first game of the year Tuesday, November 9. The boys’ team will tip-off the season on Friday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the MCH gym.
As our basketball season starts, our football season is coming to an end. Our team made it to the playoffs this year! The Bulldogs will be playing in the quarter finals against West Columbia Charter in Buckholts this Saturday at 1 p.m. We hope to see you there!
