To kick off the summer, some of the girls from the Waxahachie campus came to the Boys Ranch for a trail ride. The experience allowed them to learn more about horses and the importance of caring for an animal. For some of the girls, it was their first time being so close to such a large animal. The Ranch will continue to offer trail rides to youth from the Waco campus and Waxahachie campus throughout the summer. Here are some photos from the ride.
Methodist Children’s Home provides services to more than 1,400 children and youth daily through residential care—at the Waco campus, the Boys Ranch near Axtell and the Waxahachie campus — as well as foster care and other services.
